Kay opened Kay Genua Designs in 2002 after working in Interior Design and Sales at The Market Antiques and Home Furnishings in Fort Worth, TX. Before her career in Interior Design, Kay worked in fashion for Bloomingdales in both New York City and Dallas.  She has an unparalleled ability to mix color and pattern when working with fabrics. She is heavily influenced by travel, citing her trips to France, Italy and England as the paramount inspirations for her work.  Kay is a fifth generation native of Fort Worth, TX. She has designed residences all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as homes in Boston, Houston, Marble Falls, Port Aransas, Beaver Creek, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Bainbridge Island/Seattle Washington.
