Editor’s note: My outfit today is a blouse from Ann Taylor, Escada pants, and Bettye Mueller heels.
Happy Monday! Hello Fall in Texas! We finally have a break from the heat. I know I will be yearning for my sleeveless blouses next spring.... but it was delightful to be able to wear pants and a long sleeve blouse today. Saturday was sad with the TCU loss.....and yesterday was a bizarre day. I was setting up my command central downstairs to start my Christmas cards.....when I discovered something was wrong with the cable box. Harrison and Riley tried to help me over the phone as I got more frustrated ....then I called the cable company and worked on my cards while I waited and hour and a half on hold to speak to a human. I gave up after that and went upstairs. I am wondering if any human was actually working yesterday!!! I got ready to watch the Cowboy game.....which was also a disaster. Then my phone would not update email, Instagram, weather, or google. I think the Devil was after me!!!!! This morning all was back to normal and I got up a bit early to address some cards since I lost time yesterday . Mother and I are going to a fabulous wedding in Lake Tahoe on October 31st....( no I am not wearing a costume on the plane!)....so my goal is to finish my cards before I leave. It was actually peaceful to work on my cards in the living room (where my Riley always sits and works when she is home) and watch the sun rise. Our living room is all windows floor to ceiling....so the view is amazing up on the hill. If you look for a silver lining in every problem you can always find one.
October has just began and already I feel two steps behind. November is going to be here in two shakes and then Christmas will be upon us. I have a LOT of work and planning to do this month. One day at a time...that is all God gives us anyway! Steady as you go..........
Here are my Instagram posts from last week. I think I liked more quotes than images.....so I guess it will be an inspirational Monday! Have a great one and have a super start to your week!

I had the cheese platter at Winslow’s last night. We sat at the bar and watched the exciting 4th quarter of the Cowboy game. Another table bought our dinner because of my enthusiasm watching the game!
One of my favorite Beatles songs.
