Editor’s note: Today my outfit is a dress from Rag and Bone and shoes from Banana Republic.
Happy Monday! The day after Mother’s Day. I hope all of the mothers out there had a glorious day—I know I sure did. It was such a sunny, beautiful day after all of that rain... and I even managed to get in a little sun after my walk. I am really looking forward to my sun lounging time this summer— one of my indulgences . The pool opens next weekend and it is supposed to rain....again! When I woke yesterday morning the sun was shining through my window... the first time I have seen it this year. It was beautiful! After my oh so busy week last week it felt good to chill this weekend. Some would find that boring... I was thrilled ! We are down to the count for Mackenzie’s wedding on May 26th—- SO EXCITING!!!!!!!! I have a busy beaver assistant right now trying to juggle work and last minute details. I made the executive decision this weekend that I am going to have to take a 2 week break from the blog while she is on her honeymoon. I hate to admit that I do not know how to load the pictures onto the site... and we are so busy right now I cannot imagine picking out that many blogs and having her load them before she leaves me for wedding bliss. So the last blog in May will be Friday the 24th and we will resume on Monday June 10th. I am really sorry that my blond brain does not understand computers... I guess God left that talent off of me as well as being athletic....which we all now I AM NOT! I will have a lot to report when the blog resumes....the wedding and Riley’s new apartment that I will be moving here into on June 7th. All so exciting ! I am using miles to go see Riley so I can save money for a dining table and a new rug for her apartment . I am now on the lookout for ghost chairs for her new dining area. She actually wants to start having dinner parties....I LOVE IT!!!!!
