Editor's note: Today I am in a white dress from JCrew and shoes from Coach.
Happy Thursday!! I woke up this morning totally disoriented because we had a weekend day in the middle of the week! Time to get back to work for two days before we have the weekend! I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. I certainly did ! I got to spend a lot of time by the pool with my twins and my mother—- and there was nothing that I needed to accomplish except to relax. That is not a normal occurrence in my life. This type A blond is always thinking of what needs to get done. I actually relaxed yesterday— and it felt great!! Riley got invited to a friend’s house for dinner which went over late... so we did not do fireworks. It is the first time I have not watched fireworks on the 4th of July in over 25 years. And guess what... it’s ok!!! They will be there next year. My Riley leaves today which makes me sad... but I will see her at the end of the month when I fly to New York to go with her to a party in the Hamptons. Woop Woop—- I am so excited ! She has secured a three bedroom house for us to stay in with three of her friends that are also coming to the party. It should be a fabulous weekend!!!!!! The party is at my best friend Beast’s boyfriend’s home. I have seen pictures of the house—- and it is fabulous! I am hoping he will let me take pictures and do a blog on the house. He is SO nice— I am sure he will. I missed the party last year...was invited... and I have been given grief all year about it. So this year I AM GOING!!
I am breaking form my norm today and having another blog with instagram posts. There were so many wonderful posts for the 4th of July that I decided to continue America’s birthday party through today. Enjoy and have a super day!
A beautiful room by any measure but perfect for the red, white, and blue day!!!
Another gorgeous room with red, white, and blue. I love Eric Cross’s play with the wallpapers in the bedroom and bath. The runners are wonderful.

This baby looks like my Lacie Rue!!!! This picture posted by my friend in Dallas made my heart sing!
All of the families with small kids going to parades. We had a neighborhood parade where I raised my twins. Our golden retriever Pax won best dog costume one year. My twins were beside themselves that he won!!
More parade goers. Great pants!!
Part of the Kravet family celebrating together. I had the honor of being with this section of the Kravet family on my trip last year. They are more than wonderful people!
