Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a top and shorts from Ann Taylor and shoes from Frances Valentine.
Happy Monday!! Well after my excitement to get my stitches out......I was not prepared to see the new scar in it’s week old form. Oh my....... I had to sit in the car and weep for about 20 minutes before I could drive away from the doctor’s office. I felt like Frankenstein. Day two the redness began to go down.. which I think was due to pulling the stitches out on Friday. After a whole afternoon and night of crying on Friday.. the sun started to come out on Saturday. Good news is I can start using makeup on the scar tomorrow. Bad news is I cannot color my hair for two weeks. Oh well....I am taking my roots and my scar with me to the Hamptons this weekend and plan on dancing the night away on Saturday night. I bought 100 spf to put on the scar so I can go to the beach. I can’t worry about the roots that are a combination of mouse and gray.
We saw the new Momma Mia movie on Saturday——FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have not seen it you have to go. It even made me forget about my Frankenstein scar for 2 hours!!!! Such a happy and feel good movie. We all could use more of happy instead of shoot ‘em up movies. The whole theater clapped when it was over!!!
I was back to my normal self running errands and very busy this weekend. It felt good. Where most people love to relax on the weekend... I love to accomplish things. Makes my Monday morning calm and ready to take the work week on. Here are my favorite posts that I collected last week. Enjoy and have a super day. I am getting stronger every day.. and before I know it will be back to normal Kay!!!!!!!!
