Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a top and shorts from Theory and shoes from CWonder.
Happy Wednesday! After my whirlwind day in Dallas yesterday and deliveries I decided to stay in the office and get things done. I sent Adison ( my fabulous intern) on some missions in Dallas which I think she was quite excited about. It is a good thing that we stayed here because our computer monitor died first thing this morning. There was a HUGE one on sale at Office Depot from Dell—- Mackenzie is in heaven! She said it is like she is watching TV!! A new toy in the office of Kay Genua Designs!! I was able to call my favorite antique stores in Dallas and source a piece of furniture that I needed for a client’s master bedroom. I truly think I work in the night while I sleep because the idea of this piece came to me first thing this morning. After several Phi one calls where the dealer said they have not had a piece like I want in years..I hit jackpot! Country French Interiors had 5 that I liked!!! The lucite stand that I had seen over a month ago was still at one of my dealers—and now I have the need for it. I must be living right today!!!
He article today is on a home in Serifos, Greece. Designer Andrew Sheinman and his wife—who is a Greek-Cypriot writer, chef, and yoga instructor( I can only imagine how fun and entertaining she is!!)—had yearned for a getaway from the busy life in New York for Years found the perfect home in Greece to transform. They promised the original owners that they would keep the original structure intact and gracefully ad on. This home gives me the chills it is so beautiful. Enjoy and have a great “hump day.” Mackenzie is busy at her TV monitor computer having fun!
Does this outdoor dining seating make you happy or what???? The pink against the electric blue ocean and that thatched roof————stunning!
This is the hallway leading to the kitchen. The cool sconces are by Nemo. I love the odd shaped chairs against the wall.
The wonderful Andy Warhol print of Queen Elizabeth rules the room in the living room. The banquette is custom— and I love how the base is the same height as the matching side table. Another cool set of oddly shaped chairs add interest to the room.
This is a true working kitchen since the wife is a huge cook. The Carrara marble is so lovely against the stainless island. The beautiful ceiling includes bamboo and walnut beams.
What a magical setting!!! The house overlooks the Aegean Sea. The gardens include olive groves and lemon& fig trees. Amazing.
The house has many terraces that bring the outdoors in. More custom furnishings were created for this space. I am sure the lights above are magical at night.
Beautiful and simple guest room with mosquito netting draped above the beds. The blankets are by Adrianna Shamaris. This room just looks like vacation. Thank you Elle Decor for featuring this great article.

I got to see the chairs that were delivered earlier by my upholsterer when I went on my delivery yesterday. These are a pair of antique chairs that we reupholstered in a sassy Brunschwig & Fils leopard print. They turned out fabulous!!!!
We added this rug yesterday to go along with the sofa, chair, and ottoman newly upholstered in an Osborne & Little fabric. The pillows are an Old World Weavers fabric—look closely. They are zebras all in a row.
I forgot to take a picture from my later delivery..... next time I am out there I will snap a picture. The console from Theodor Alexander that we waited so long for was worth the wait!! It was gorgeous in the master bedroom.
I had to move Lacie Rue’s bed over next to Mackenzie while she was unloading the new monitor. She is a helper dog!
This is the sawmp plant that came from my grandmother's house in Shreveport, which we transplanted to our gtarden. It has thrived through all these years and has now bloomed. I love it!
For dinner last night we had chicken tender and tomatoes from Mackenzie's garden on top of a romaine salad.
