Editor’s note: Today I am wearing a dress from Ann Taylor, scarf from Ferragamo, and shoes from J.Crew.
Happy Monday!! My football teams let me down this weekend :( LSU lost to those chomping Florida people and the Cowboys lost in overtime to the Texans. I will say that the Texas/OU game was VERY exciting. I was cheering so big for Texas that I got Lacie Rue barking! That is the most points that Texas has scored against OU since the game began in 1900. That is amazing!!! I was finishing my Christmas cards while I watched the game. And I finished!!!!! I am SO proud of myself. I can’t put stamps on them yet because I am ahead of the post office and the Christmas stamps are not out yet (at least the last time I checked.) I think I will have a sealing and stamp placing party with Mackenzie one afternoon and serve champagne. That sounds like a plan! On to wrapping presents this next weekend. We saw A Star is Born on Saturday night—-oh my goodness is it fine!!!!! I highly recommend it—-but be sure to have plenty of Kleenex ready for the last scene. This movie is pure emotion that is authentic. I was a big fan of Lady Gaga before this movie... and now that admiration is elevated. This is one talented lady! I have already purchased songs form the movie on iTunes. The rain that was supposed to happen held off so I got my errands run and walks in. Lacie Rue now has to have a “workplace” fix on Saturday and Sunday....so I brought her up to work both days. She waits by the door. Precious 13 year old baby of mine!
Here are my favorite Instagram pics from last week. Enjoy and have a super Monday. The day full of possibilities!!!!
There is nothing extremely important about this picture except the mood it inspires. The bicycles parked in front with baskets gives the feel of a simple life that is not in a hurry. I love the window boxes all different tended to by the apartment dwellers. We all need to slow down a bit and treasure each day!
I love the shape of these twin bead headboards !!!!! This whole moment is wonderful complete with the bamboo desk and chair.
What an elegant entrance. Traditional beauty and architecture has been around for hundreds of years.... and is still beautiful.
Beautiful wallpaper....beautiful flip top desk.... and check out the fabric on the chair. WOW!
May I move in please?? When Harrison asked me as a little boy if I would ever take him camping...I quickly answered no. I told him I was more of a Ritz Carlton kind of girl.
What a precious way to ask a homecoming date!
Oh how I love the formality of this picture!
What a view!!!! Hello fall!!

Pumpkins on the roof!!! That is a new idea !! What a Leave to Beaver house—love it!
This quote made me cry—- so sweet and true!
Breathtaking scene!!! And I love the blue Ford against God’s fall beauty.
That banquette and that table base!!!!! Fabulous!!!
Now THAT is a pumpkin patch!!!
Is this the coolest building you have ever seen or what???!!!! Fantastic!!!
For dinner last night I had the fried avocado with aioli sauce at Winslow’s. It was divine!
