Editor's note: Today I am wearing a white blouse from Ann Taylor, a black skirt from Theory, and shoes from Christian Lacroix.
Happy Monday!! I put Riley on the plane to head back to New York yesterday. So sad!!!! But at least I got to have her for a long visit that got extended from Thursday because of the storm. Thank goodness I bought a lightweight bag in San Miguel to transport my treasures home in--- because it served well to pack more coats traveling back to the frigid weather and Riley's fabulous furry throw that I gave her for Christmas. Mackenzie picked out the throw at Z Galleries when we went to see the new store-- and boy did Riley love it!! It will certainly add sass to her NYC apartment. Her suitcase was SO heavy--- good thing she is young and strong to get it up 4 flights of stairs when she arrives back to the city. The things you will do when you are young! Life in NYC is hard but the most wonderful experience ever. I only lasted a year-- I think my Riley will be at least another year or two. She loves her job-- which is such a blessing!
There were lots of great posts this weekend on Instagram -- so many of the snow that has hit the East Coast in a big way. Everyone be careful in those frigid temperatures!!! Riley's new down coat will certainly feel good when she gets back! It's Monday--- the day full of possibilities. Let's make it a great one!!!!!!
This beautiful picture of Greece is more than welcomed to warm up those effected by the storm. Greece is SO on my bucket list!
Snow is so beautiful when it is freshly fallen. What a storybook house.
A wonderful New Year's Eve celebration!!! Pure joy!!!
The play on fabrics in this room is spectacular!! I love the sofa fabric treading up the wall. The collection of art on the wall looks collected and wonderful.
Such a romantic setting--- you can just feel the love.....
Here I go with my door obsession!! Not only is this front door a wonderful green and has great moulding---- but it is split!! Love it!!!
Emilio Pucci is always classy--- love it appearing on the slopes!!!!
What an incredible shot of Paris at night. Such a magical city--- the city of lights.
What incredible architecture on the Round Tower of the Mardakan castle in Baku, Azerbaijan. Amazing!
I love the collage of art above this desk---especially the long piece on the bottom. I also love that it goes all the way to the ceiling.
What incredible snow that fell in the East Coast. I know it's beautiful, but I'm sure they are having a hard time dealing with it.
Beautiful yellow building in Portugal. I love how I get to travel around the world on Instagram every weekend.
What an incredible mosaic design in this courtyard in Morocco.
Now we are on to architecture in Cheshire County in England. I think in my next life I might be an architect.
Another great collage-this time black and white. I love how the chairs also fit into the whole equation.
Thought this was a great Sunday quote, and it is so true!
I like to think I fall in the second category :)
Last night for dinner I had venison burgers from the deer that Harrison got in December. He was so proud to get his meat back from the processor. My freezer at work is full!
Still one of my favorite Boz Scaggs songs.
