Editor's note: Today I am wearing a top from Chicos, sweater by Marc Jacobs, pants from Ann Taylor, and shoes by Aquazurra.
Happy Friday! I think we are finally going to thaw out this weekend! Boy has it been cold. I don't remember wearing my long Northface down coat so many days in a row!!!!! The 70 degree weather will feel divine-- and I am so happy for the Midway at the rodeo to have great weather. There will be a lot of happy kids and parents not shivering in between the rides. My twins loved to go there---- I was always so happy when it was time to go home..... not my thing! What we do for our kids! I am knee deep in sourcing side tables today. This is one time that I do truly miss The Market where I used to work. They had so much stock on the floor and such beautiful selections to choose from-- I could knock out a whole house between my store in Fort Worth and the three in Dallas. Oh well.... life goes on and so does the world of design. Ever evolving every day.
The article that I am featuring today I found on House Beautiful's website about kitchens. Such great photography and super ideas about all sizes of kitchens-- especially ones where very inch counts. Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!!
What a beautiful compact kitchen in New York City. I would venture to guess that 90% of kitchens in New York are tiny and have to utilize every inch. The mirrored backsplash here adds glamour and gives the illusion of a bigger space.
What glamour in this kitchen with the lacquered ceiling and rich wood cabinets . The space is tight-- but oh so beautiful.
The color of these cabinets and wall paper is so happy and soothing. What a beautiful space to start your day!!
This kitchen is part of the living space seeing the apartment is 400 square feet. The island is so cool being made from a fallen oak Trew. The other base is a hand carved cherry log painted white. Such an inventive idea!!!
What a tiny but efficient kitchen. I love the drama of the black Benjamin Moore paint color " Aura." The roman in the Holland & Sherry fabric is darling.
How ingenious that this darling kitchen is behind doors in this 640 square foot apartment. The kitchen is in the entry hall... so closing off the kitchen to greet guests is perfect. The doors with this fabulous wall paper unveil a precious kitchen with brass accents.
The vent a hood and the light fixture are the stars of this kitchen. Love the use of this space!!!!! Beautiful job Celerie Kemble.
