Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a dress by Z.Spoke for Zac Posen and Ann Taylor kitten heels.
Happy Tuesday! If you are reading this blog today--that means I have figured this out two days in a row. Wahoo Kay! Day three with out Michelle. I forgot how lonely it was before I had a full-time assistant--have not been alone since 2007. I hope Michelle is having a fabulous time in Greece! I am splitting my time between vendor meetings and clients today. I never have a boring day--I love my job! Today I am featuring a family vacation home in Watercolor. It is so lovely, functional, and beautifully but "user friendly" decorated. I know it will be a good read. Enjoy! Have a great Tuesday!
Great front porch entrance with the oyster shell wreath and weathered adirondack chairs.
The dining table is from Clubcu who I have never purchased from--but surely will in the future. Great side chairs with the metal legs--and of course I love the slip covered host and hostess. The brick fireplace with the large hearth is so inviting!
What a darling picture in front of their house. Love the purple + orange against the pale grey/stone of the house.
All around beautiful living room. Love the white brick as a backdrop to the casual slip covered upholstery accented with blues and beige.
Great architecture! The arched rooftop over the balconies and window add such a cool look to the house. Love the eaves how they dramatically meet lower to the walls.
Beautiful grey and white kitchen. The pecky cypress vent a hood is so good look. Love the zippers on the back of the bar stools--great touch!
I love antique doors used anywhere--so great as the entrance to this den. The draperies in their horizontal stripe and hung right under the molding are so pretty and dramatic. Beautiful touch of turquoise with the pillows on the sofa.
Large view of the TV room. Relaxed slip covered upholstery--perfect for a vacation home. The walls add such a great dimension to the room.
Wow--those powder room walls covered in oyster shells. A true work of art! Fabulous sink!
What a cool and interesting landing. Love the way the cushions are tied onto the vintage chairs with rope. The stair rails featured cattle fencing--a salute to the owner's Texas roots.
Such a well thought out bunk room utilizing two sets of queen bunk beds. Great space saver to have the drawers below the bunks so that space does not need to be taken up with a chest of drawers. Love the fish art--so fun!
Oh so lovely master bedroom done in soothing lavender. There is a large back porch off the master--perfect for evening sunsets. I love the way the wicker chairs are polished at the foot of the bed.
Love the porch swing and chairs on the master porch. Love this perfect "moment!"
Perfect design for this pool. I always adore those lounges in the water. The fire pit that seats six is wonderful spot for the winter or cool nights!
