Happy Monday! I hope everyone's weekend was fabulous! I worked hard on Friday and Saturday to finalized my daughter Riley's closing on her new apartment on 26th and 3rd in New York City. So thrilled that she will be in the Gramercy Park neighborhood only three blocks from where she lived when she was interning with her present company. The search for the new apartment was a hard one and we had to jump through a few hoops to get the closing done but we did it! She is moving tonight bless her heart after work. It is a good thing that she is 24--I don't think this 57 year old could do that at night. Michelle and I were there for her move in to her current apartment last September and kills me not to be there to place all of furniture and art today and tomorrow. We will see if I can stay away in the next few weeks to go up to help her! Michelle just mentioned that I should maybe go when she is Greece with her family in a few weeks. I love to create a new nest for my kids. No matter how old they are they will still be my children. After we had the large deposit sub transferred and documents signed and notarized. I treated myself to time at the pool even though it was so hot it felt so good! Instagram post were a lot of fun to read this weekend! Here are the ones that I would like to share. Have a super week!
Is this lavender field stunning or what?!
I loved this drawing! It reminded me of me but instead of drinking a martini I would be drinking wine!
What a stunning dining room in every way! Love love the blue and white. The chandelier is gorgeous!
I have a thing for vines growing on the outside of the house. I know it is not good for the brick but I think it is so beautiful!
What an elegant summer evening dinner party!
Loved this moment in every way! What a beautiful valence over the bed and of course I love the combination of the swing arm reading lamp and the beautiful table lamp.
Here I go with my door obsession! Great blue door.
What a precious entrance. Beautiful blooming vine. So romantic!
This painting really spoke to me!
Also a beautiful painting! Love the coloration!
I thought this room was so lovely and balanced.
What a cool use of not only the architecture of the plants but the cool path!
I loved everything about this moment! I created bookcases like the inside of this cabinet for one of my favorite clients years ago. The dual paint of the salmon and the blue against the green is so gorgeous!
Another beautiful and well appointed dinner party!
I thought all the circular shapes in this room were fabulous. What an incredible chandelier!
One of my favorite things to do is wallpaper the ceiling. It adds such interest to a room!
Another beautiful blue and white room. I keep posting blue and white rooms. I think I must be in a blue and white phase. Love how they upholstered the chairs with the repeat going down the middle.
I loved this pool. The orange and white stripe against the pool is so beautiful! It really pops!
Jackie O was one classy lady!
Another beautiful dining room! I adore that light fixture!
Beautiful done kitchen. The pendants over the island are stunning!
My moto is yes I can do that too!
Sorry I didn't take a picture before I started eating. I was so excited! Dinner last night was at The Original and I had the ladies special.
Such a romantic song from Bread!
