Happy Tuesday everyone! It is work horse Tuesday and Michelle and I are on a tile mission today for a new job that we got last Thursday. We are working on a pool and a cabana. I have become the cabana lady. This is my third one that I have done in 2 years. I must say that I love them because they are a mini version of the house with fun and attitude! It was a little bit of an emergency tile situation so we are going to Dallas on a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday. I don't mix it up very often but I don't mind Dallas days. I must mentioned in my blog today that today is my daughter Riley's one year anniversary at Listen First Media in New York. The year has flown by and she has adored her job! Congratulations Riley Girl on reaching your one year mark! Today I am featuring an article about the Hotel de Crillon in Paris that has been revitalized. As I have mentioned many times before I absolutely adore the architecture in Paris. I can never get enough of it! This hotel is full of wonderful Parisian qualities and is a utter feast for the eyes! Have a fabulous day and a great rest of the week!
This fabulous room is the Les Ambassadeurs bar. The cloud mural was added during the renovation. As you know I have a thing about blue ceilings and this one with clouds is stupendous! Every square inch of this room is stupendous! Absolutely super wow!
The pendant lights are 18th century inspired. I love how they hang at different levels. I have placed some similar fixtures from the lighting company Vaughan. So beautiful! The grand staircase was restored! I love the mixture of the gilding and dark iron. The brown and white marble floor is so dreamy! What about that chaise?! Pure attitude!
This incredible room was designed by Karl Lagerfeld and the tub takes its shape from fountains at the Vatican. The tub was carved from a ceiling block of rare arabescato fantastico marble. This is a true work of art!
Here is a lower view of the Les Ambassadeurs bar. Love love all the amber color marble mixed with the hammered silver bar front. The brass railing at the bottom is a wonderful indication how silver can be mixed with brass on any occasion and become stunning!
This is the living area in the Duc De Crillon Suite. The hand painted walls were restored and are just beautiful! I love the play with all cream with just a touch of black. How elegant!
What a stunning canopy designed by Karl Lagerfeld over this bed! I love the scalloped featured coming out of the canopy. Once again the walls are just as beautiful as the rest of the room! I would love to stay in this dreamy room!
This is a view from the Bernstein Suite. What a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower! Paris is so beautiful!
What a cool and interesting men's grooming area. Featuring graphic marble. Note how the sink is position sideways. So cool and interesting!
Here is a larger view of this men's grooming area. The ceiling is a work of art in itself with its circular shapes going down the room and that marble floor oh wow! Look at the back of the green leather chair. I have never seen channeling like that. Lagerfeld says in the article "during the late afternoon I sit on the terrace of the Tuileries, look at the Crillon, and say, "I'd love to stay there one day."" How utterly special that he collaborated on the renovation of this stunning hotel.

Love these quotes! Today I must say that I am proud of both of my twins that they have become fabulous young adults.
Dinner last night was salmon and steamed broccoli. A delicious skinny girl meal!
I need to follow this young man's career and see how he is doing. He was so great on The Voice!
