Editor's Note: Today I am wearing Ann Taylor dress shorts and lace top with Valentino shoes.
Happy Tuesday everyone! It is the work horse day of the week. I am off to Dallas today to meet with my cousin to do some design work for her. Even though she lives in Dallas and I live in Fort Worth we never see one another. It is sad that life is that busy. I am excited to get to do a project with Kathryn and her husband and get to have her in my life. Her mother Jane is one of the sweetest people that I know and never forgets to send a birthday and Christmas card. We should all be the diligent and caring. Michelle and I are still working on the details of our move next week and getting excited even though moving will not be fun. If you could see how much stuff is in my office you would understand--but it is going to be great! Today I am featuring an article out of magazine that was new to me called Southern Home. I am embarrassed to say that I was cleaning off part of my desk in paper piles that "I will get to that stack later" and found this magazine that I was saving. This article is so cool and there are so many articles in the magazine that I loved so need to subscribe to this. It is beautiful and well done. Have a great day and enjoy the sunny weather finally!!
One of the home owners favorite color is pink as you will see going throughout the house. Since I am personally a very pink girl this coloration thrills me. This gorgeous and happy dining room features fabrics from Manuel Canovas for Cowtan & Tout. I truly love all the work that I do but I must say that I love picking out fabrics with color.
Another view of this gorgeous room leading into the living room.
Love the use of pink and purple in this room with the touch of turquoise. The faux bamboo ottoman used as a cocktail table is one of my favorite things to do. I am all about having ottomans everywhere you can prop your feet. I think it makes the room more cozy. Note the curved rod with the window treatment. I love using rods like this--they graceful attach to the wall.
A great moment with this brass bar cart and sconce. What a great way to fill a tiny space.
I adore using antique chest in any and every room of the house where they will fit. Not only do I like the way the look but the extra storage is always welcomed!
Another great view of this love seat with the fun pillows. The trim on the small beige pillow is incredible! The staircase you can see in the rear is so well done and graceful.
Another view of this beautiful living room. Love the antique sofa table in the window with the lamps. Another one of my favorite things to do. I love a good surface with a pair of lamps. I think in my opinion over head lighting is necessary and useful but I like the glow of lamps in a room.
What a great idea to have this antique iron gate separating the entry hall from the living room. So whimsical and fun! Great carpet on the stairs!
Who could be in a bad mood in this kitchen with the fun green tile behind the stove top. Love the pendants over the island as well!
The Osborne & Little drapery treatment in this breakfast room adds so much fun and color to the room. Great breakfast chairs! They almost look like jewelry in the back. You can see by the latches on the window that they open out and let the fresh air in. What a delightful way to start the day!
What a fun green butlers pantry! Love the color.
Great arched door leading outside next to the breakfast room. I love the architecture of this room!
Is that dog wallpaper fun or what?!
The pink carries into this room with more touches of green and turquoise. Love the draperies trimmed in the acid green and the acid green art with the birdies over the buffet. So much fun!
Great moment with another great arched door!
I love to prop art like this like counters instead of hanging every thing. It adds a new twist to accessorizing!
The coloration of the house continues into the master bedroom with the fun pink and green with pops of turquoise. So happy!
Great wallpaper against these fun green cabinets! Of course I love the white marble top. I am in love with white marble!
I have sold this Currey & Company chandelier in blue before. It adds a spark to any room and looks great in this hallway!

Love these quotes!
Dinner last night was southwest marinated chicken served with a side of broccoli. Delicious!
I heard this song while in the Benjamin Moore paint store the other day. It instantly made me smile and think of the first time that I walked in Studio 54 in 1978. This song was playing and we danced to it immediately.
