Happy Monday everyone! I worked so hard on Saturday emptying all of the boxes and getting all of my side of the office situated. My organized assistant Michelle had hers finished by Friday and mine still looked like a bomb. I am the type of person that when I move I will stay up all night getting rid of boxes. It felt so good to see the light at the end of the tunnel on Saturday and to have the front of our new studio cleaned and organized. I even vacuumed! I am not use to having this much space and I found out on Saturday that I can not always hear my cell phone if it is on my desk and I am in the back of the studio. I guess I am really living in 2017 because we gave up our landline so it is vital that I hear my cell phone. All a learning curve! When I went to sleep last night I was almost giddy thinking that I got to go to work at my new studio on Monday morning in all of its splendor! We have three fabrics vendors still to bring back their books and then our fabric is complete. I saw some new things from Scalamandre and Schumacher today and I am truly feel like I am getting back in the grove. I am even going to bring my dog Lacie Rue tomorrow which I am never been able to do. Since I have been going to bed so early at night I have had so much time to look at Instagram and love the post that I found. Make it a fabulous week everyone! Mine sure is starting out great!
