Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a dress by Kay Unger and sandals by Coach.
Happy Thursday--off to Dallas today to do some design magic--hoping to not have any SOS contractors calls while I am busy being creative. I love my Dallas Days! Today I am featuring some of my favorite pages out of Betty Lou Phillips' book French and Italian Decor--a gift from a favorite client at Christmas. I often use the term "favorite client"--can you tell that I love my clients? They became my best friends... I love my job. This is a fabulous book if you have not seen it. Make it a great day!
What a gorgeous hallway! I love the full length old mirrors behind the pair of settees. The pop of coral it is beautiful with the velvet pillows. Like a great piece of jewelry!
A yummy living room in every way! Such a soft pallet and seafoam green. This room would put anyone in a good mood!
I love the fabric on the inside of this armorie with the doors left open. Armories have fallen out of favor in design--this is a perfect way to bring one back in a fresh way!
Oh wow! This pumpkin color against the turquoise blue--so beautiful!!
What a great use of a kitchen corner! Love the curved banquette with the shelf behind for display. Such a lovely "moment!"
One of my favorite things to do in Paris is just to walk and take in the architecture. These grand doors are every where--and often lead into a motor court. This one looks to be a front door--fabulous!
Patina beds are one of my passions. They are stunning in every way--the whole line is. This was the color of my Patina bed--but I had highlights of paprika and soft greens mixed in.
So cleaver for a golfer son. Love it!
Love these quotes that I found this morning!
Dinner last night was roasted chicken and arugula salad with nuts and chipotle dressing. Delicious!
This is one of my favorite songs from The Beatles! It always puts me in a good mood!!
