Happy Monday everyone and greetings from Portland, Oregon! I am here in Portland for the Ann Sacks VIP trip and I am so excited to be apart of this great event. I am sure to come back with my head filled with wonderful knowledge and even more excited about Ann Sacks tile more than I already am. I got to attend a wonderful surprise 70th birthday on Friday night at River Crest which was so much fun! How great to be having a surprise party at age 70. Life is to be cherished-- we all need to remember that! I thank God everyday for when I wake up in the morning and try to live each day to the fullest. What wonderful Instagram picks that I found over the weekend. I am sure that you will enjoy them as much as I did. It is Monday the day full of possibilities! Make it a fabulous week!

I love it when there is a mixture of art and prints on a wall. It adds for so much interest! A great bench like this is hard to find and always well received.
One of my favorite things to do is to wallpaper a back of a bookcase. It adds such a great element to any bookcase and the accessories in front of them. I also love the use of art in the bookcases. Art is not only for walls.

The old River Crest Country Club that was decorated by Mario Buata before it was burnt down in the late 70's early 80's had a tented room like this in one of the upstairs party rooms. I always thought it was one of the most beautiful things that I had ever seen!
