Happy Tuesday everyone! Mama Kay is a little sad today since I sent by second twin on her way to go back. Harrison is now back at LSU finishing up his last three weeks before graduation and Riley is back working hard in New York City. But I will say that my heart is happy that Riley gets to fly to LA to go have meetings with her large client Warner Brothers. Her first business trip on the job! So much fun! My little girl is doing well! Yesterday I was purging some magazines which I have said before hurts me but I found one more article in the November 2016 article of Architectural Digest that I found was worthy to be featured. This Los Angeles guesthouse is so full of color and whimsy. I know that you will enjoy it. It is "work horse" Tuesday and I hope your day is treating you well!
I love odd shaped ceilings. This children's bedroom is full of happy color and whimsy. I have always wanted to do a bunk room or a kids "sleep" room like this with different colors on the beds. The wallpaper on the end wall and the lights on the angled ceiling add another but fun element to the room. What a great place for kids to have a "spend the night" party!
I have always had a thing for "up and down" in a home. I think it adds so much interest! This sitting room with its fun colors and the door way draped will put a smile on anyone's face!
Beautiful entry! The curved front door and the door underneath the stairs add such interest. The stark runner on the stairs and the antique Swedish chest are fabulous!
Great living room--I love the pair of custom chaise lounges flanking the fireplace! The screen separates the game table--is a great use of space and helps make the living space cozy!
Another great space with the pointed roof line. Rooms like this remind me of a storybook house. Stunning free standing tub and double vanities flanking.

Self-confidence is truly the best outfit!
Last night for dinner we had leftover marinated skirt steak and broccoli. I cooked some of my kids favorite foods while they were home so we have some fabulous leftovers. The roses you see by my plate are from our garden. So pretty!
I have many favorite Eagles songs but this is one of my all time favorites!
