Happy Thursday everyone! Easter is around the corner and I know everyone is getting excited to have family celebrations. I sure am! My Riley flew in from New York last night and Harrison is here for a blessed 10 days on Spring Break from LSU so I am beyond thrilled to have my twins at home. Having them around is like energy flowing through my blood. Today I want to talk about a great article in Luxe Interiors + Design March/April Issue. The article is all about color and all the fabulous color being used in the design industry right now. I never really left color. Most of my clients want color in their home and I am know in the Design District in Dallas as a colorful designer (I think that is in more ways then one). I know you will love this article as much as I did. Have a fabulous day!
I adore this living room! Those sofas are super wow and that orange armorie tucked in the alcove is an incredible pop of color. Who could be in a bad mood in this room?!

Blush has become such a popular color and almost a neutral that there really is not enough of it in the design district. Fabric houses are scrabbling to keep up with the demand. Isn't this chair precious?!

This room was designed by Tilton Fenwick for a Greenwich Village apartment. Tilton Fenwick has an incredible fabric line for Duralee and I love their work! These teal walls truly make this room like a jewel box.

I know this article is all about color and the wallpaper in this kitchen with the blue cabinets are so wonderful. I do think the little dog stills the show in this image!

The black and white floors in this entry are so cool! I have never seen art on the wall that was just frames only with no art in it but that is a cool architectural element to the room. Love Love the lamps in the boxes on the console.

Self-confidence really is the best outfit!
Last night I cooked my marinated skirt-steak. It is a recipe created by Bonnell's. After you marinated the meat you pour the rest of the marinate into a pan and let the sauce cool down and pour it on top of the meat. Absolutely divine!
My zucchini recipe that I made up. I cut a zucchini in half put some truffle oil on it, slap yo' mama seasoning and drizzle any sort of white cheese on top. Bake on 400 for 20 mins. It is pretty as it is delicious!
I love all of Diana Krall's music but this song is especially well done!
