Editor's Note: Today in Dallas I am wearing a skirt from Anthropologie, blouse from Theory, belt by Club Monaco, and kitten heels from Ann Taylor.
Happy Wednesday everyone! It is Hump Day and one of my favorite days of the week because it is usually my Dallas Design Day. I adore my days when I get to be creative and I truly love all my vendors in the Design District so it is always a fun day! What a glorious day it is-- It is one of the days that you want to bottle up and save in the middle of July. Today I want to talk about a great article that is in the new Elle Decor. What a treat to see a beautiful estate outside of Florence, Italy which happens to be one of my favorite cities in the world! This Tuscan estate belonged to the current owner Carlo Pallavicino grandparents. The interiors are so Italian which are lovely and comfortable and the view is incredible! I am sure that you will enjoy this article as much as I did. Have a great day everyone! One week of lent is down--I am missing Diet Coke but I am doing alright! Make it a great one!
What an utterly dreamy setting!
The first thing that I noticed about this room were the walls. I have never seen a room stripped like that! It is so cool! The pair of 18th century inlaid Tuscan tables that flank the door way are so elegant and beautiful! I think the overall room is just so lovely!
What an incredible floor in this entry hall that is a terra-cotta tile from the town from Impruneta. The tile floor combined with the 19th century antiques is gorgeous. What about the transom over the door with that tiny shutter?! Too precious for words!!
The floor in this kitchen is wow wow and double wow!! Handmade cement tiles from Florence!! What a fun kitchen to cook in!
What a beautiful dining room with the 17th and 18th century engravings of Rome and the beautiful 19th century Tuscan dining chairs. Too find that many that are still all together is virtual impossible!
Oh my!! This view is too incredible for words! The color combination of this outdoor furniture are so much fun! What an incredible place to have a glass of wine or take an afternoon nap.
Love this stripe walls again in this guest room and the bedding is from C&C Milano linen, which I have used many of times. It comes in very wide widths so there are no seams.
I adore this bed coronet and curtains above the master bed. I have never done this treatment but I am sure to emulate it. I love having a non-headboard option in a bedroom.
Oh wow! What a garden! What a beautiful sculpture. You can see the Duomo in the distance. I was fortunate enough to stay in an hotel in Florence that had a view of the Duomo outside my window. What a way to start my everyday on a trip!

Dinner last night was salmon, a bean and corn salad from the prepared section at Central Market and grilled asparagus. All leftovers quick and easy and also delicious!
One of my favorite songs form the Doobie Brothers! It will forever remind me of dancing school in 7th grade!
