Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a skirt from Anthropologie, blouse by Ann Taylor, scarf worn as a belt from Hermes, and patent flats from J.Crew.
Happy Friday! Hope you are gearing up for a great spring weekend. This may be the last of our cool nights on Saturday--but this is Texas. It could snow on Easter! I was about to throw away this AD---so I had to take one more look and see. I don't remember reading this article on this Penthouse on Park Avenue in New York City. The owners are avid art collectors --Clarissa is deeply involved in the arts in NYC and her husband has an incredible career as Seagram distillers and the former CEO of Warner Music Group, and now a ventured capitalist. A great successful couple who love beautiful things in life! I know you will enjoy this fabulous Penthouse as much as I did. Have a fantastic weekend!
What a cool staircase--and the wire sculpture by Venezuelan artist Gego--Wow!
These chairs--how cool! Blue acrylic painted chairs by Eduardo Costa. The art is all 20th century--what a fabulous display in this office.
The yellow sofa is custom made by Vladimir Kagan. What is incredible lines --and I love the legs and the wood trim. The commanding painting by Diego Rivera is heart stopping.
The Roberts Matte painting sets the wonderful backdrop to this dramatic room. This is the style of painting that you would stare at for hours and see something different every day. The custom rug adds a great touch to the beautiful room.
I love the varied collections of art in this dining room. The dining table by Joseph Walsh Studio is fabulous! The host and hostess chair almost look like a leg seated--so fine! The octupus chandelier is a piece of art in itself!
This is one of my favorite parts of the articles in AD--the design notes. Such great information and details. Always makes my creative mind swirl. The quote on the bottom right is so true--I don't go by rules. I let the room and the client's desire fuel the design of the room.

Dinner last night was roasted chicken and green beans with almonds both from Central Market. Fast, easy, and delicious!
I fall in love with this song over and over again every time I hear it and by the way I love her dress. I would wear that in a heart beat!
