Editor's Note: Today I am wearing top by Alice and Olivia, skirt by Rag & Bone, belt from Henri Bendel, and shoes by Valentino.
I can not tell you how saddened I was by Mary Tyler Moore's passing last week. Not only did I adore the Dick Van Dyke Show & The Mary Tyler Moore Show but she was an idol to me. She was a self confident young women who made it on her own. I can tell you that her character in The Mary Tyler Moore Show inspired me to go and work in New York and make it on my own. She was fun, witty, very independent, and had a great work ethic! I truly don't know if I had not worked in New York and had the experience that I had if I would own my own business today. Thank you Mary Tyler Moore for inspiring me! We will all miss you!
I found both of these quotes on Instagram and loved them!
I never threw my hat in the air like she always did at the beginning of her show but I thought about it often. This is the way I felt after I was offered my first job in New York City.
She was so adorable in the Dick Van Dyke Show. I can just hear her say "Oh Robbbbbb!"
She was so darling!
What a great article!
Miss independent and always looked sassy!
I love to wear skinny pants and flats just like Mary Tyler Moore. I wonder if I am copying her style? What a great lady! Rest in peace!
Love these quotes from Zig Ziglar and Mark Twain.
Dinner last night was roasted chicken and brussels sprouts. Simple but yummy!
Love this song from Nat King Cole! Mary Tyler Moore always made me smile!
