Editor's note: Today I am wearing a silk blouse by Elle Tahari, a Vince leather skirt, and Valentino flats.
Happy Thursday! Only 5 days to go!! I don’t know about you, but I am getting very excited. I picked up my flowers today to do arrangements for Christmas in the house. One of my favorite things to do- set the table and adorn it with flowers. Setting our table always brings back such wonderful memories of past love ones who are now in heaven. But, we have new faces being added- and the web of life continues! I cannot wait to get in my “zone” and make magic tomorrow! We get to install a sofa and two chairs in a living room that I planned in October. What a special Christmas treat for me to make my magic happen in a client’s home for Christmas. Thank God we did not have any delays in getting everything here on time!
The article today I found in Milieu Magazine. This 300-acre farm that is a true working farm, providing rest and relaxation from the couple’s hustle and bustle of New York City. It also gives them a large platform to display their ever-growing collection of Asian art.
Enjoy and get excited about our count down to Christmas. I have my Riley home- so I saw bring it on!
The traditional exterior of the home. The farm land was purchased first and then they bought the house on a neighboring lot. The first intention was to live in it while they built another house- then they fell in love with it. It was updated but kept almost identical to the original. Job well done Gil Schafer III.
Gorgeous living room with colors that compliment the stunning Asian art. The Bennison drapery fabric is as classy as all Bennison- and I love how they added the fringe from Samuel & Sons to the bottom. What a yummy living room to come home to on weekends.
The architecture of this home is so me. I love all of the arched openings in the corner of the dining room. I adore antiques, and this hallway displays many. The runner is antique and the walnut mirror is 18th-ventury. Stunning!
What gorgeous Regency dining chairs done in a Rose Tarlow luscious colored leather. The draperies made with a Claremont fabric is trimmed beautifully with a trim from Houles. The oil paining and sconces are so lovely.
Oh how I love fabricated walls! The walls in the master are covered in a Rogers & Goffigon solid and trimmed with a Claremont. I love how the window is tucked into the wall. The draperies are so full and gorgeous adorned with trim down at the bottom. Gorgeous!
Left: A close up of the draperies and a peek at the fireplace. So romantic to have a fireplace in the master. I do this whenever I can on a new build.
Right: Beautiful double sink from Urban Archeology with the lucite legs. The tiny striped wallpaper from Schumacher is the perfect tone from off the master walls.

Here's the living room we installed and completed today. It will never grow old helping client's turn their homes into their dreams!
I love this!
For dinner last night I had southwest marinated chicken from Central Market and ceasar salad also from Central Market.
Kelly Clarkson does an AMAZING version of Have Yourself a Merry Christmas. Love it!
