Editor's note: Today I have on a sweater from Diane von Furtsenburg, skirt from Anthropologie, and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.
Happy Monday! I was a present wrapping queen this weekend. Our wrapping station is up and running-all organize and already rocking and rolling. My goal was to get the out of town presents wrapped and ready to ship. Cheers! Good thing our wrapping station is in the downstairs TV room-otherwise called the armory room because it is filled with Harrison’s guns and pictures of my step-father’s trips to Alaska bear hunting. Our table we use was my grandmother’s breakfast table- a draw leaf table that I used in my breakfast room at my old house. All my furniture has a new home and a new purpose now. I love that my “one Momma’s” table and chairs are downstairs next to my “Nanny’s” china cabinet (that now holds my wrapping supplies in neat baskets); and, Nanny’s re-upholstered sofa that used to be in her TV room. The spirit of all my loved ones now in heaven carries on. Someday all or most will land in Riley and Harrison’s homes. And the tradition will carry on!!!
Way to go Cowboys--lets keep it up and win out so we can go to the playoffs!
Of course, I found time for Instagram in between all of the hustle and bustle of wrapping. Enjoy my favorite posts and have a fabulous week!
Is this a story book house or what? I love entrances that are tucked in a corner.
This was posted from an architect that I follow that lives in a country that I cannot read the language...so I don't know where this is, but it is way cool!
So beautiful and simple. I love the addition of the lemons.
These chairs painted in fun colors add so much spark to this display.
Poor baby is all tangled up. I think he was trying to help.

Just an all around elegant setting. Balanced and beautiful.

I thought this was gorgeous with the addition of orchids. This photo was taken in Sydney, Australia.
Here is what the wrapping queen accomplished this weekend. I separate out my gifts by the recipients on the stairs.
All of my presents for my cousin in Atlanta were large this year.
My present pile for my best friend and her kids. I decided this year that all of my out of towners were getting green and all family were getting silver wrapping.
I've always loved this quote from Walt Disney...and of course I love Mickey Mouse.
