Editor's note: Today I have on jeans from AG, a cotton blouse from Don Castor, a scarf from Hermes, and flats from J Crew.
Happy Wednesday! I am so excited today to get to place the rugs in the house that I installed at the beginning of October. The hardwood floors did not get their last coat in time for me to place the rugs at the time of my install-so today is the day! I have 2 large custom rugs from Lee Jofa in the great room-and three other rugs from Feizy going in the dining room, master, and study. I cannot wait to see the rooms that I created with this finishing touch! I will be sharing some pictures soon!
Today's article comes from the November issue of House Beautiful. This gorgeous home in West Palm Beach was designed by Jeff Lincoln. The blue and white hues throughout the house are super. I love his quote that "American decoration today allows the freedom to incorporate history in a contemporary way." His mixture of styles is superb.
Enjoy and have a fabulous Wednesday. It's hump day!
What a stunning entracne to this West Palm beach house. It truly does say welcome! I love the heavy ficus archway leading to the home. Just gorgeous!
This Phillip Jeffries wallpaper in the living room is stunning. It is hemp embellished with gold bras. I've seen it in person and it's stunning. Doesn't it make such an incredible statement in this room?? The white consolse gleams against it.
A larger picture of the living room. I adore the over scale ottoman used in the middle. In the article they talked about how chandeliers filled such unused space in the room. This one certainly does make a statement.
This foyer is filled with so many unique pieces. You could truly stand in here for 30 minutes just to take it all in. LOVE the juxtaposition of the white table ontop of the zebra rug, and the chandelier is fabulous. The mid-century Italien chandelier over the contemporary center table creates such a cool vibe.
This room makes me happy! The all white walls and upholstery with the pops of color in the garden stools & pillows creates a beautiful space. The upholstery is done in a Perennials fabric so wet bathing suits are welcome. The chandelier is by Paul Feronte which is one of my favorite lines. The collection of tiny antler mounts on the wall is just as fine as a piece of art. What a fabulous room!
A close view of the pool from the loggia. That fig tree is stunning.
Love the happy colorful china and crystal he selected from Mary Mahoney.
What a spectacular outdoor dining setting.
This bed by Dessin Fournir is breathtaking. The Schumacher wallpaper was designed by Celery Kembell and gives the room the feeling of palm leaves going around the room. Love the dramatic chandelier by Arteriors. Yes, pelase I would lvoe to stay in this room.
I don't believe I've ever seen crushed seashells used in a garden setting, but it is fabulous. The huge hedge of what looks to be ficus is stunning in it's own right. The outdoor furniutre by Mckinnon and Harris has such a flair. Just beautiful.

Lacie Rue got to come to work with me yesterday. This picture was taken in the back of my studio!
This cracked me up!
I just love this!
Last night I had roasted chicken from Tom Thumb and steamed asparagus.
This song will always be a classic!
