Editor's Note: Yesterday I had on a new dress from Rag and Bone and Prada heels.
Last night I had the pleasure of being invited to a book signing party at Schumacher and then to a private dinner with Mark D. Sikes. The cocktail party at Schumacher was so lovely and had a great crowd. I was proud for Mark D. Sikes that they ran out of books and I got the last one. I was able to order two more books that will be mailed to me so all is good! The dinner at Le Bilboquet was extremely elegant and delicious! I was honored to be a guest! Mark D. Sikes is doing a new collection for Schumacher and of course his fabrics are fabulous! What a gifted, talented, and kind man. He really won out in God's blessings! Here are some photos from the party last night. Mama Kay got to bed two hours later than normal but it was worth it. It was a magical night!
I have a chance to briefly go through the book this morning. It is one that I am going to study hard. It is incredible!
Picture of Mark D. Sikes with his book! A proud moment!
One of the rooms featured in the book. I love the mixture of the antiques, new furniture, and all the scales that he uses!
Mark is a lover of blue and white as am I. I simply adore collections of blue and white!

I did not take pictures of my food but my dinner was stupendous! I ordered the Salmon Tartar and the Filet au Poivre. Delicious!
The table setting was pure magic and it was such a beautiful night to eat outdoors!
Another view of the table. It was such a festive party!

I keep finding all these songs on my Pandora station that I forgot about. I had to do a little jig to this one!
