Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a silk dress by Theory and Coach heels.
I love this month's issue of House Beautiful. There were two articles that I want to blog about so I will do today and one of Tuesday since Monday is my weekend Instagram post. The first article that I want to talk about is a Beach Home designed by Colleen Bashaw in the seaside town of Bayhead, New Jersey. Here use of color and whimsy throughout the house is fabulous! I had to stop and look at every room and take in all the elements while reading the article. I was especially interest when I was reading the article that the clients are Scott and Baine Belair. Scott is the co-founder of Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Since Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores I loved pepping into their life through this beach home. Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
This living room is wonderful balanced and so well appointed.
Another view of the living room!
I adore the Anthropologie arm chairs in the Pierre Frey fabric next to the fireplace!
So many elements in this kitchen speak volumes! I love that brass is being reintroduced into the design world. It looks like jewelry in the room. The legs on the island, the vent hood, and the sconces are all incredible. As are the shelves.
What an incredible breakfast room! The wallpaper and trim color is stupendous!
OMG this powder room! The wallpaper from Brett Designs adds so much drama to the room. The mirror is pure whimsy and is by Anthropologie! Way to go Anthropologie!
The Christopher Farr cloth's wallpaper in the Master Bedroom adds such a pow to this room! Leotine linens on the bed are always the right answer!
Another large view of the room!
This lace fronted armorie from Anthropologie is incredible!!
The daughter's room is full of spunk and imagination. I adore the wallpaper by Galbraith & Paul. The zebra skirted bedside table with the frog trim going down the front is so imaginative!
This guest bathroom is full of eye popping features! I love the tile floor and the Cole & Son's wallpaper. The chairs bedside the tub adds such a spark of interest!

Steel Magnolia Tip # 40: Skip scary or too serious movies. Go for one that makes your heart happy and flutter. We have enough to worry about!
Still trying to get my New York weight off so last night dinner was lean and mean. I fixed baked chicken breast with rosemary and garlic oil and asparagus with Chile oil and habonero salt. Delicious!
I adore this John Legend's song--over and over and over again!
