Editor's Note: Today in New York City I am wearing a Kenzo Skirt, Vince Top, and Vince Camuto Sandals.
Last weekend while reading my magazines I decided to write a blog on transitional lighting. I am in the beginning stages of a transitional job so I am always looking for fresh ideas and new resources. This edition of Luxe Interiors & Design magazines was chalked full of ideas. Since there are less layers in a transitional setting each element is very important. Lighting can bring a room up or down just like bad shoes, bad purse, or a bad tie. Here are some of my finds that I thought were great!
We are actually working with Hammerton on a cabin in New Mexico. Their line is quiet diverse! I thought this chandelier was beautiful!
Love this lighting from John Pomp!
I love how wispy and whimsical this chandelier is. Marilyn seems to be blowing the chandelier a kiss.
This light speaks volumes! So incredible!!
I think I could sit and stare at these fish swimming in the chandelier all night long!
Great pendants! Very clean and stylized!
I am always drawn to Urban Electric lighting. I saw this ad in Elle Decor and wanted to included it in my blog!
Steel Magnolia Tip 9: Always have two sets of keys. If you can't find your keys--use the extra set and go on. You got home didn't you?? They are around somewhere.
Last night for dinner one of my courses was a delicious Broken Chili Chicken. It was so divine!
Stay tuned to see all my delicious eats from New York trip on my upcoming blog!
I love Michael Buble version of Fever. It always makes me sing and swing by hips!
