Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a dress by Opening Ceremony and Banana Republic kitten heels.
This past Sunday while I was pouring over magazines at the pool I was pouring over this issue of Veranda. So enthralled that I came up with the blog ideas from one magazine. The first one I am writing on today are the advertisements that I earmarked and why advertisements are so important to me. I get so inspired from ads anywhere from fabrics to lighting. The companies whose advertise really earn their money with me because the ads speak to me. I have ordered lighting from England and planned a room around a fabric just from an ad. Here are the ads that caught my eye in this issue of Veranda.
I love this fabric headboard with the wood trim. I am doing more fabric headboards than anything right now in my design work and this wood trim with the gold highlighting is so elegant!
I have always turned to Peguerin for their beautiful gold hardware.
This ad featuring there silver turns really caught my eye and made me think!
Samuel & Sons is one of my favorite trim lines and I thought this ad was so innovative.
When I was at the Market Antiques and home furnishings I sold as much Lee Industries and Home Furnishings as some whole furnishings. I truly wish they would work with designers. At the Market we were a stocking dealer.
I love this line and have placed two of their cocktail tables within the last year!
Love seeing this ad about Kate Spade's new line.
Urban Electric lighting always catches my eye!
I placed the La Corne range back in 2014. It was absolutely jewelry for the kitchen.
Great page on Kitchen pendants.
I am checking into this set of china for one of my clients. So beautiful!
Steel Magnolia Tip #23: When someone gives you an answer you don't like--politely say that is the wrong answer. Tell them the answer you are looking for, please find the right answer please--and call back in 5 minutes.
Dinner last night was roasted chicken from Central Market along with a prepackaged salad from Central Market with apple, walnuts, cranberries, onions, cheddar cheese, and I added avocado!
Such a sweet song from Michael Buble!
