Editor's Note: Today I am wearing walking shorts and silk top by Ann Taylor and Vince Camuto sandals.
I just completed a project to update this mid-century house in the past few weeks. I have now done four houses for this sweet client. All of them have turned out great but I am especially proud of this one! This house was a challenge when she purchased it and we turned into something great! We reused a lot of her furniture from the other houses--adding new drapes and reupholstering where needed. She is a thrilled with the results as I am and it makes me beyond happy!! This is my third mid-century house that I have worked on. We had a great time turning into a dream home for her!
The dining room-- we added a new chandelier and the drapery are from Hines & Co.
These bar stools turned out so sassy! The bar stools are from Pearson and the fabric is a Travers.
We ordered a new leather sofa from my favorite resource in North Carolina (sorry readers not telling!).
We reupholstered the arm chairs in a beautiful leather from Holly Hunt and the swivel tub chairs are a GP&J Baker. The cocktail table from David Gilbert was customized size and we found the antique bar stools already in this leather from one of our favorite sources in Dallas.
The guest room drapery are from Zoffany. Love the juxtaposition against the beams!

This cool piece of art was placed in another guest room in the house.
This living room furniture expect for the art all lived in the living room of her past house. Of course it all looks different now being in this mid-century house in a different configuration! The drapers are the same (Hines & Co) as the dining room!
Another view of the living room!
The Master Bath turned out so beautiful with a gorgeous tile from Ann Saks!

These swivel tub chairs in the forefront serve as a prime tv watching space to turn around and watch the tv. This living area is also the main tv watching area was a challenge to furnish and function for all uses and the swivel tub chairs were the answer!
Love these quotes!
My sweet Harrison marinated the chicken for this dinner in three different marinates that we all got to sample.
Along with it we had jalapeno sausage that I cooked in the oven and spinach salad! Delicious!!
I love this song from Paul Tiernan. It is so heart warming!
