Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a silk dress from Banana Republic and Vince Camuto jeweled sandals.
Saturday night I got to attend a beautiful wedding in Dallas for my Aunt Jan's neighbors daughter Hannah. We unfortunately had to miss the wedding and half of the reception because my poor cousin Shelley got stuck in the bad weather in New York City and was delayed for two days. She was dressed on the plane for the party and I brought her jewelry. We flew in the car to the reception at 9:30. Even though we missed a good deal of the evening what we got to experience was so lovely. My best wishes to Hannah and her new husband. I hope they can fall in love again everyday!
I wore a red dress that is Riley's. I felt spiffy, sassy, and could not believe that I could wear my daughter's dress!
My Valentino shoes were my big splurge for myself this spring! I am in love with them!!
Outside of Arlington Hall at Lee Park. The whole venue is stunning!!
Bars and food were set up outside under these magical twinkle lights!
The beautiful grand room was really bouncing with the incredible band they had and all the merriment!
Here I am with my cousin Shelley who is really like my sister!
Part of my Williams step family. The all look so darling! All three kids are and were Horned Frogs!
I love the vignettes that they had on the large sidewalks with cool umbrellas and seating!
We were too late for cake but here is the cake table with the stunning cake plateau and flowers!
This was the wall behind where all the books were displayed to sign. I am so sad that I forgot to take a picture of the books! They had large coffee table books with different color sharpies for the guest to write notes to the bride and groom on different pages. What a great keep sake!
The flowers and the candles were all so elegant!
One of the gorgeous table arrangements!
Love these quotes and love the word magic! The wedding was magical!
Last night for dinner I had crab cakes from Central Market with remoulade sauce served with grilled asparagus and seasoned with Chile oil!
The Doobie Brother's always brings back such happy memories!
