Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a dress by Ali Ro and Vince Camuto sandals.
This past weekend I read my new Traditional Home cover to cover and analyzed every page. I absolutely loved the issue-- I earmarked so many pages to talk about in my blog. Because I was reading the magazine in the sun by the pool my poor Traditional Homes is now falling apart and that is okay. The general theme of what I love about this issue is the explosion of color that I found in many of the articles and ads. I tend to attract clients that love color so all of these examples of using pervasive color was right down my alley. Here are the highlights of what attracted my attention in this fabulous issue!
I not only loved this shot but we are using the cactus fabric in the bottom left corner in one of the guest rooms in the Palm Springs home that we are designing. I recognized it in an instant! I love this Pierre Frey fabric!
What an incredible pool and outdoor dining!!

Oh the tile in this kitchen! Spectacular! As is the vent a hood.
The blue tile in this bathroom is sumptuous!

LOVE the rug against the blue chairs!! Fantastic!!
I love the art work and the salmon chairs in this living room.
The blues in this outdoor seating is so soothing and the pop of the orange seatee is great!
I have never done a green ceiling or a wall this color green but it might be in my future design work. I think it speaks volumes!
The fabric on the bed frame is so happy!

Last night for dinner was a jalapeno cheddar burger with meat purchased at Central Market. Served with grilled zucchini seasoned with Chile Oil, Slap 'Yo Mama and covered in Swiss cheese. Delicious!
I am a huge Boz Scaggs fan and this is one of my all time favorites!!
