Editor's Note: Today I am wearing Ann Taylor dress shorts, Ann Taylor silk blouse, and Coach kitten heels along with one of my favorite Judith Leiber belts!
This morning I had two meetings with fabric reps from Fabricut and ID Collection. I always love to see the new fabrics presented this way in the large fabrics and all the colors that the fabrics come in. My brain starts working on where I can place the fabrics and I keep some favorites in mind for future jobs. It is a time consuming thing for me to do this in my day but always turns out in my favor! I appreciate the reps time and love the personal attention. Because of the volume that I do in my business I constantly have reps call me to schedule an appointment. I don't always take them but I truly enjoyed my back to back rep meetings this morning. Here are some of the highlights of what I saw.
I started off with fabrics from Vervain and S. Harris "Fabricut rep presented." The gray and yellow color way of this fabric was stunning!
Love this print! Beautiful colors! Fabric by: Vervain
Another elegant Vervain! This would make stunning draperies!
I am always looking for a great woven for sofas and chairs. This one had great texture and came in so many different color ways.
A smiling Kay surrounded by one of her favorite things--beautiful fabrics!
This bug fabric was so playful and happy!
Now I am in appointment number 2. I love many of the fabrics from Casamance especially this acid green.
Love this print! Very fresh and new.
Old World Weavers is always the right answers. They have been making elegant fabrics for so many years and I have used them on many jobs!
Great woven fabrics to build a foundation of a room on. I chose many of these books to add to my library!
Last night we had artichokes with a mushroom sauce and butter. The mushroom sauce I made from Cream of Mushroom soup adding TX Whiskey, spicy salt, Chile Oil, garlic oil, half and half, Slap Yo' Mamma Seasoning, and pinch of Cayenne pepper. Delicious!
I know every word to this song and always sing it loudly where ever I am. It always puts me in a good mood!
