Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a silk blouse by Vince, dress shorts by Anthropologie, and Coach heels.
Today I got to have the pleasure of working with one of my long-term clients Maggie she flew in from Houston early this morning and flew out this afternoon. This will be my fifth house that I have worked on with her and each one has been my immense pleasure. I met Maggie when I worked at The Market in the late 90's and we were instant friends. Today we were mainly working on new fabric for pillows in her Family Room and a rug, but we are also on the search for Dining Room chandelier, benches, and rug runner. The day flew by quickly with much design work and laughter! I can't wait to go see her in new house in August and see which one of our choices works the best. I am more than often make great friends with my clients and Maggie is no exception and today was a super day!
Here we are fabric shopping with one of her many choices. She ended up not liking this one because she thought the flowers looked fake. Oh Maggie! Fabric by: Harlequin Eden Indigo/Chartreuse
Another one of our choices. We can tell by the smiles on our face that we are having fun! Fabric by: Sanderson Solaine Teal/Cream
This one turned out to be a winner! Fabric by: Jim Thompson No. 9 Tea Party
After fabric shopping we laid them all out and starting narrowing down on our choices.
Here we are with some of the winners started to look for rugs. This beautiful rug was from Kravet.
This is one of our choices from Feizy Rugs.
On to Interior Resources for more rug shopping! This one turned out to be one of the favorites!
Maggie and I posing on the rug!
Another option for a rug.
I found this one at the end and this one is a major contender!
Had to get our pose in!
Found these quotes this weekend on Instagram. Love them!
Here I go with soft food dinners with a piece of Tilapia seasoned with lemon, butter, and Cajun seasoning. Cooked on 375 for 20 minutes. The soup is my own concoction. It is made up of zucchini, jalapeno, Swiss cheese, truffle oil, chicken broth, half and half and Knorr seasoning with a dash of pepper. I must say the sound of the blender scared my animals to death as it sounded like a truck. It turned out delicious!
Love this movie and love this song!
