Editor's Note: Today I am wearing dress by Don Castor and Vince Camuto sandals. The gray and white stripped belt is vintage from the 80's.
I love the newest addition of Veranda and I have already blogged about one of the articles. I was reading the whole magazine last weekend and fell in love with this article featuring Mark D. Sikes work! Mark's career seems to have a similar twist as to mine. He was a formal Marketing guru-guru to Banana Republic and Pottery Barn. Since I got my start at Bloomingdale's in New York in the buying and training program I saw a common thread in our careers. His philosophy on designing, his fabric, and his taste level are very attuned to mine! He truly treats each room and how he decorates it as to how it is going to be used. I loved everything he did in this beautiful Montecito home! Here are some of my favorite aspects of the article!

Last night I had a tortilla soup from Central Market. I had an emergency oral surgery yesterday and will be on soft diet for 10 weeks. Oh boy Howdy--I am going to have to be creative since I no longer eat carps or sugar. Here we go I am going to make an adventure out of it!
I love this original song by Bryan Bautista. If you can't tell I adore The Voice and American Idol. I am going to miss American Idol so much!
