Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a Carven dress and Ann Taylor kitten heels.
In 2012, I helped a long-term client move from Arlington to Fort Worth. Over dinner they were discussing what type of house they were looking for. I couldn't believe it but I just had been in a house in the neighborhood that they wanted to live in earlier that week with another client. The house did not suit my other clients needs but was perfect for this couple. We schedule a viewing and they feel in love with the house. I took a lot of pictures of the home while the current home owners were still living there to jog my memory of each rooms space and walls. I always love reading the before and after articles in Architectural Digest and even though the before pictures are by no means bad I thought it would be fun to show the before and after pictures of these rooms after it was done by Kay Genua Designs. It was truly a wonderful project and I am very proud of this home! I photographed it for my D Homes Best Designers in Dallas for 2015 article. It stills as fresh today as it did in 2012.

Finished product of the Study. This is the husbands favorite room!
No before pictures of the Breakfast Room. We had a custom banquette made for the windows and used cafe curtains instead of draperies.
The table and chairs were custom from Kerr Collection.
Finished product of the Master Bedroom. This room truly makes you say Ahhhh!
My photograph taken in the Dining Room for the D Magazine article. We reused the Dining Room draperies from their Arlington Hall and able to make them work in this new Dining Room. They look stunning with the art work that I found in Paris!
This quote cracks me up! I always try to be positive!
Last night for dinner I had lamp chops and a spinach salad. Yummy!
I love the Beatles version of this song but this version by Joshua Davis melts my heart.
