Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a shirt dress by Joie and J. Crew kitten heels.
As I am working on my Palm Springs house another project that I did in Edwards, CO that I did years ago came to mind. The project turned out incredible and the husband said that it was beyond his wildest dreams which truly thrilled me. This Edwards job was my second large out of town install which I did the in fall of 2008 and really taught me in the ins and outs of doing an install out of town. I must say that the receive is one of the most integral parts of the whole project. I have been fortunate to find great receivers in Colorado, Florida, and New York. I use my drapery work room here in and we ship the drapes and install them on sight. Since I am very particular about my drapery treatment it is important to me to every detail to be perfect. This job in Edwards we had a few problems with delays in fabric, furniture, and spots on chairs when they arrived. The crown of an armoire was destroyed in the move and we were fortunate enough to find a fantastic wood repair man to fix it and you could not even tell. Here are some pictures of my job in Edwards that I am still very proud of!
Looking through the dining room looking at the great room.
The sectional and rug are from Kravet. This sectional is truly a man pleaser!
The dining room drapery fabric was delayed from India and I am sorry to say that I do not have a good picture of the finished project.
I think they started to weave the fabric from the time I ordered it because it took so long to come!
The custom cushions we added to this chairs added a pop of color and added so much comfort!
A view of the kitchen with a custom window treatment!
The lounge chairs in this morning room are from Schumacher and the home owners now have them in two different homes.
They love them so much!
The chair by the desk was one of the chairs that came with a huge grease mark on it. We were able to get it out! Hallelujah!
An antique pine piece in a guest room filled with Majolica!
I love this antique buffet that placed in the guest room that we called the blue room with some art from Taylor's on Ten.
The Master Bedroom with a gorgeous Schumacher print.
This fabric was so delayed that it had to fly on the private plane with us when we went to install.
We re-purposed this Patina bed from the Fort Worth house to the Colorado house and planned the room around it!
We fondly called this room the "Green Room." This is where I stayed in the house and woke up to a new blanket of snow. It was so gorgeous! The headboard was re-purposed from the Master Bedroom in the Fort Worth House.
I love these quotes!
I forgot to take a picture of my Caesar salad from dinner last night so I took a picture of my lunch today!
I had a Caesar salad with chicken. Delicious!
Every time I do an out of town install I feel like a new day has come. I learn something new every time!
