Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a skort from Anthropologie, silk top from Ann Taylor loft, and Coach heels.
Michelle and I had the pleasure of flying back private from our adventure and work trip in Palm Springs. Flying private is such a treat and such a luxury especially in today's times. Our commercial flight was supposed to leave at 7:00 am on Thursday morning so getting to leave on Wednesday after we were finished meeting our subs was utterly fantastic. Today when we got back-- we have hit the ground running. We are working on schedules for all the subs in Palm Springs and also had another meeting with a client this afternoon about a job that I have in New York this August. We have already started collecting art for the apartment and we will be looking for more accessories and I will be hanging a collage of art in the apartment and putting final touches on what we have been working on over the past year. No rest for the weary. We hit the ground running today!
We look so sad don't we! Cheers!
That Michelle. She is always working!
Our seafood lunch on the plane. It was delicious!
The apartment that I will be working on in New York. We recently designed this custom ottoman with a Scalamadre fabric and found the antique chairs from a vendor in California. The sofa that she still loves I custom ordered for her apartment when she was getting a degree at Baylor. She still loves it so it traveled to New York. The rug we are replacing!
We will be adding art to this wall or maybe this is where we will do brackets and antique birds that she wants me to find.
She loves the way this wall looks so we are trying to collect turquoise birds (she does not like the chickens) to use in the apartment.
This wall now has a cool mid-century looking console under the tv and I will be doing an entire art wall around the tv.
We are looking for a replacement for this bookcase. Something that is not industrial looking.
I try to believe that I can do anything with my creativity and my perseverance.
Dinner last night was baked tilapia with lemon, butter, and Creole seasoning along with my stuffed squash.
I still love all the Chicago songs from the 70's. They bring back warm memories.
