Editor's Note: Today I am wearing dress by Rag n Bone and Stuart Weitzman sandals.
When I go to work on an out of town install my work is fast and furious to make the most of my time. Yesterday we met with a contractor to talk about remolding the bathroom and various on other items in the house, an electrician, a painter, source a carpet store, chose the carpet, the house will be measured today. We made time for a quick lunch but went by the slab resource before the heat swelled to the high of 113. It was a little toasty in the slab yard, but we made it and we found a fabulous slab! In the afternoon we spent hours in a fabulous store call Pirch and chose a new bath tub, faucets, shower head, new sink for the kitchen, new kitchen faucet, ice maker, and a dishwasher. We were even able by taking pictures to figure out the resource of the current faucets so that we could get replacement handles in the showers without ripping out the tile. Today we are finishing up with the wallpaper installer measuring and giving a quote, along with the carpet installer measuring and returning the samples that we took out yesterday and meeting with the gardener to replace the sprinkler heads. We got everything done that was on our grocery list and I am feeling great about the progress and that we are going to be on time for the install in October. If you have to be this hot at least you can be this hot in a beautiful place in the world.
