Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a Banana Republic blouse, Skirt from Anthropologie (that I just had taken in at the tailors.. yipee!),
and a flats by Ann Taylor.
Today I am talking about the power of green. Green is such a bold color and it can really set the tone for the room or add a spark to another setting. In honor of talking about green today I wore my green Anthropologie skirt that I have owned for years that I just had taken in. It has always been one of my favorites and part of my high low dressing; I always keep favorite bits of clothing and try to reuse them. Green has always been one of my favorite colors to use in design when it is appropriate to use for my client. Below are some images the beauty of green in a room!
I love everything about this room! I love the wall, the chair, I love the mantle, I love the stool, and the rug. Wish I had designed it myself!

I love the juxtaposition of the green table cloth with the position of the chairs. The antique mirror leaning against the wall adds such elegance!

This quote is so true!
Last night for dinner I had a Pin-wheel Steak from Central Market seasoned with garlic oil and Tony Chachere seasoning cooked on 400 degrees for 20 mins. Along with bacon wrap jalapeno and sausage and steamed green beans!
This is one of my favorite songs on Taylor Swifts album!
