Editor's Note: Today I am wearing Ann Taylor white jeans, Ann Taylor kitten heels,
and top from the Royal Standard that I bought in Baton Rouge.
I showed you two days ago how I re-purposed furniture and accessories on a large job. Today I am showing you the rest of the items that I re-purposed. As I mentioned before I truly love re-purposing furniture and accessories it thrills the client to have them used again and just like the floor move in a store when you put something in a different place it comes to life all over again. It also saves a lot on budget and allows me to add some new expensive things to the various rooms. Here is a glimpse of the other rooms that I re-purposed furniture and accessories.
This pool house on the large remold was an addition to the house. I was able to re-purpose many items in this space. In this living area the painting armoire original belonged in one of the daughter's nurseries. It was hand painted for her at the time.
The sleeper sofa lived in the TV room in the main house before and was recently reupholstered.
Needless to say that husband was thrilled that I was reusing it!
This needlepoint rug was the inspiration for the entire living area. This rug original lived in their home in Chattanooga. The coffee table use to live in the TV room and the top needed to be refinished. We had some of this gorgeous exotic granite leftover over from the bar and used it on top of the coffee table for a new updated look!
This table, lamps, and chairs use to live in the breakfast room in the main house.
We purchased a large number of these chairs when we did the first remold in the main house.
The table that goes with them and eight of the chairs are now going to Palm Springs. Re-purposing at its finest!
This gorgeous bird print use to live in the hallway in the main house.
It worked in purposely with the turquoise tile that I used on the back-splash.
This outdoor furniture from Brown Jordan was original on the back porch on the main house.
Now it on the beautiful veranda of the pool guest house.
Love these two quotes! So true!
Last night for dinner we ate at River Crest. I tried two appetizers at River Crest. The shrimp salad and an oriental calamari. Delicious!
If you go for it crazy dreams do come true!
