Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a skirt by Banana Republic, a top by Mono B and kitten heels by Ann Taylor.
Harrison is returning home from LSU tonight to go to his new members party for the Steeplechase Club in Fort Worth. Harrison is the third generation in my family to be in Steeplechase Club following my father and my brother. Steeplechase turned 100 years old in 2013 and is a social men's club starting at age 21. Girls are asked to be a Steeplechase Deb their Junior Year of College and 100 years ago a Debutante was presented by her father as being eligible to date and find a suitable husband. Now a young lady makes her debut for more fun and social aspects. Times have changed but the bow has remained the same. Steeplechase Deb is presented by either her father, a Steeplechase officer, or a new Steeplechase member. I was a Steeplechase Deb in 1980 and my daughter Riley was a Steeplechase Deb in 2014. Riley had the honor of being presented by the President of Steeplechase Chris Darden, which meant she made her bow first in the evening. A little nerve wracking. She did a fabulous job! Here are some images from Steeplechase through the years.

A sea of Steeplechase debs!
Riley and Harrison before Riley's debut in 2014. I love this picture of the two of them with the stunning sunset and background of River Crest.

A view of the stage
After the girls make their bow the presentation stage turns into the stage for the band and the big party begins!
FYI I did get on the stage around midnight singing with the band!
Love these quotes!
This morning for breakfast I had a hard-boiled egg with my tea! Delicious!
This song always warms my heart and it is how I have lived my life my way!
