Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a belt by Cole Hahn, silk blouse by Theory, white jeans, sweater, and kitten heels by Ann Taylor.
In keeping with my being thankful this holy week of Easter. I am thankful for my God given talent to be able to create beautiful spaces for my clients and the brains that God gave me to run my own business. I am truly blessed for both! Here are some of the rooms I have created throughout the years for my clients that I love! I adore what I do for a living!
A grown daughter/guest room in a high rise in Fort Lauderdale. The GP&J Baker fabric was the dust ruffle and drapery. It was a brand new fabric in their line at this time and it turned out so beautiful! I also loved the custom headboard that we designed!
Ann Saks tile worked in the surround of this fireplace.
Living room in Katy, Texas for a client that I have had since 1989.
An updated teenage daughters room. The American Girl doll bed was not ready to exit yet.
A 9-year-old boys room who is a huge baseball player! We converted the study to be his room.
My daughter Riley's dorm room in the Tri-Delt house at TCU. I love the drum chandeliers that I did over the beds.
Don't ever ask me to do it again! I am glad people did not have to witness what I had to say about installing in the plaster walls.
My princess was treated to bedding from Peacock Alley and Hamburg House!
I love this drapery treatment. It reminds me of a ballgown. This is one of my "pink/green" clients. Fresh and happy! Fabric by Schumacher.
A beautiful home office/study. The drapery fabric took almost 8 months to come in. The rep for the fabric line was almost scared to see me at a fabric showing after it was delivered. It was a four step process to make the fabric and step one kept messing up. The end result was stunning and worth waiting for! I have forgiven Travers///these drapers make my heart sing every time I see them!
One of my Design Inspirations table. I loved the pink and blue. I was inspired by something that I saw in Veranda Magazine.
Pink and Blue fabric from Fabricut!
I saved this text from my son Harrison. What he wrote in his paper about me warmed my heart and gave tears to my eyes!
One of my daily motos! No one has time for bad attitude!
Last night for dinner I was at a TCU parents cocktail party. So the cook got to eat Louise Lamensdorf appetizers!
She caters now and she use to own Bistro Louise.
I adore this Etta James song, but there is not much Etta James that I do not like!
