Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a vintage Krizia blouse, Lucy Marie jeans, and Vince Camuto shoes.
Drapery treatment is one of the most important and final steps to finishing the design of an overall room. Each drapery treatment will be different for each room as each room holds different purposes. A couple of different treatments that I like to use for different rooms are cafe curtains, drapery panels with rods, drapery panels with valence, roman shades, and the list can go on. Cafe curtains are great for bathrooms, kitchen windows, or windows facing streets as these windows need more privacy and do not need to be left open all the time. This also allows for another layer in the room. Bedrooms on the other hand are different. If the bedroom needs to be darker I recommend using panels with a valence as this will block out the most light. Other rooms that do not need to be blacked out as much you can use a rod with rings and finish with finials. Finials are the jewelry to the room that completes the overall look. Roman shades are perfect when the space is tight or when their is furniture underneath the window. Also gives a different personality to a space. Check out these images below of the different drapery treatments that we love!
Beautiful cafe curtains!
We love the finials used in this traditional dining room!
Last night for dinner was leftover night and I had a delicious homemade cauliflower souffle,
a green bean bundle wrapped in bacon and a turkey burger. Yummy!
