What a busy holiday weekend it was! Saturday night was the Jewel Charity Ball, which was a beautiful and elegant event designed this year by my good friend Bill Robertson, who was also the designer for my daughter Riley's deb party with the three other girls that we gave it with. Saturday was filled with grocery shopping, wrapping presents, hair up-do's, cocktail party at River Crest before the ball, and the ball. It was a jammed packed day but a lot of fun! I found time to look at my Instagram posts and loved seeing all the ones about Christmas. Once again, my Instagram friends did not disappoint. Sunday I spend almost the entire day wrapping and had to pull out the heating pad Sunday night for my aching back. A good friend once told me that Christmas is not a time for mothers to be selfish. We give and give but oh is it worth it. I shop for my Christmas presents all year long and hide them underneath my bed. It is fun for me to wrap all these presents that I have put in so much time and effort into selecting. In just as you would expect my Christmas presents do not look ordinary! They are festooned with big bows and ornaments. Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Let's make it a bomb diggity-week!
