Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a cashmere from Athleta, wool pants and flats from J. Crew and an Hermes scarf.
The November Issue of House Beautiful is fabulous! Actually starting with the cover--how cool and clever to do the 120 the "120 anniversary" utilizing Samuel & Sons trim?! Which also happens to be my favorite trim line! The line is so extensive as you can tell by the various beautiful trims that make up the "120" on the front cover. There are several articles that I truly relish. Today I am going to talk about one that features blue and white in a home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. As I have said many times before blue and white is always the right answer! This home took it to a wonderful extreme and is so classy and beautiful! Happy Friday everyone! I think fall is falling arriving this weekend with the cold front. I love having a sweater on today. It is exciting that this is the weekend before Thanksgiving and the holidays are going to be in full swing!
There are so many elements in this room that I LOVE! First off I love the symmetry of the sofa with the pair of chairs of facing it. This is so often how I treat a Living Room. The blue and white tile surrounding the fireplace is precious. The China Seas' Sultan II fabric for the draperies and the pair of chairs has so much pzazz and adds so much to the room. I adore the blue ceiling also! Job well done!
The wallpaper used in the Dining Room is called Feather Bloom by Schumacher. It is printed on sisal paper and is beautiful to look at as it is to touch. The pattern is so big and beautiful it needs to be on a large wall and truly sets the tone of this Dining Room. The Hickory Chair Dining Table and chairs are perfect for the room as Hickory Chair has always done for so many years beautiful Dining Room furniture.
This powder room is super WOW! I love the use of the three Schumacher wallpapers to create such a visual overload and fabulous experience. The sconces are from Visual Comfort which is one of my favorite lighting lines. Note the brass faucet and pulls. Brass is coming back in a large way. Everything old looks new again!
I adore this Paleck Rattan in the Kitchen. It adds such a great bit of whimsy to the room. How smart that the bar stools are covered in outdoor fabrics from Perennials and Link?! Outdoor fabrics have come such a long way and don't look like outdoor fabrics but are so cleanable. The roman shades add just the pop of color needed to complete the whole look.
A larger view of the kitchen. So beautiful!
This whimsical kids room is beyond darling with the built and bunk beds and slide. Love the floor as well!
The Master Bedroom is cool and calming with the blue and white. The ceiling is so beautiful and interesting! What a way to wake up in the morning!
What a wonderful moment created on this back porch with the built in banquette. We just used the pillow fabric in a different color way on our Palm Springs project.
The quadrille wallpaper and re-purposed panels in the window create such a lovely guest room! Another favorite element that I have been doing a lot is a square skirted side table. I love the addition of the "frogs" used for trim on the corners. The lamp is from Bunny Williams whose line is not huge but every single lamp is stunning! What a yummy room to stay in as a guest!

Great quotes that I found last night!
Last night for dinner was a lemon roasted chicken from Central Market served with a spinach salad and seasoned with a Chipotle dressing! Delicious!
If Lionel Richie has a bad song I don't know what it is. I love this one! What a talented man!
