Editor's Note: Today I am wearing a silk blouse by Vince, a cashmere sweater by Laundry, pleated skirt from Anthropologie, flats from J.Crew and a vintage belt buckle from Graziano that I had a new strap put on at Deno's. Thank you Deno's for resurrecting many of my treasures.
I was excited to receive my new Elle Decor the other day and look at all the new fresh pages of ads and articles. Since I personally love color so much this article on a home design by Fabrizio Rollo truly caught my eye! What an explosion of color and a beautiful job! Fresh, fun, and very happy!! I always design my clients homes to suit their personalities and their lifestyles. I guess you say that my personality is colorful because I love to live with color! I hope you enjoy this article as much as I did. Happy Thursday everyone!
What a stunning Living Room! The screen in the far left corner were made in the 1940's by Dinucci. The antique Louis XV arm chairs are so fresh and new that the gorgeous orange Damask. I adore the Italian footstools with there gilded frames and the lithograph by Andy Warhol on the far right as such an immense color to the wall. The John Grant piece over the sofa finishes the whole room off!
I love this sitting room with the pair of hanging mirror son each side of the art work. Since I am such a symmetrically person I love the pair of lamps, pair of mirrors, and pair of pillows grounding the otherwise eclectic room.
I love many elements about this room! I love how the bookcases are done with all the books and the artwork hanging on the outside. I love the turquoise background of the bookcase and a zebra rug is always the right answer!
What a unique staircase and side table underneath the staircase that almost mimics the stairs?!
The 19th century arm chair set against the modern stairs a great juxtaposition.
What a wonderful guest room! The Schumacher wallpaper truly sets off the headboard with its matching neck roll.
I love the casual ikat coverlet with the dresser porcelain lamps. I love mixing styles this way!

After having a fight with cutting the spaghetti squash last night we had a delicious dinner of spaghetti squash with butter and Swiss cheese. A little bit of arugula with spicy dressing for color and ground beef with peppers from Central Market.
I absolutely adore Earth, Wind, and Fire. It always gets me dancing!
